Biography
I grew up all over the United States, but consider Southern California my home. I graduated from The University of Arizona with a bachelors degree in history and attended American University in Washington D.C. where I earned a masters in Political Science. I worked in politics for a few years before obtaining my teaching credential. I taught for a few years in Manhattan Beach and then took some time off to raise my two sons. I recently went back to work near the Capitol in Sacramento but found myself missing the challenges and joys of teaching. I live in Davis with my husband and our two great boys. We have two Golden Retrievers- Dutch and Pressly. When I am not at baseball games, hockey practice or basketball games, I am walking my two dogs or hopefully at the beach!.
